GLS is a leading analytical laboratory offering regulatory compliance services, routine analysis and method development for the tobacco, hemp, smoke and vapor industries.

Tobacco analysis was the basis of founding GLS. The lab can analyze a full range of crop protection agents, GMO, heavy metals, sugars, nicotine and much more. For finished tobacco products we test Harmful and Potentially Harmful Constituents (HPHC) for federal regulatory purposes, TPD lists for European regulatory purposes, low ignition propensity testing and U.S.A. State regulatory compliance testing.

With several years of experience, GLS provides compliant HPHC analysis for FDA regulation, TPD analysis, quality control and stability testing of e-liquids, aerosol and ENDS products.

GLS tests hemp for: THC, CBD, 9 Cannabinoid Profiles, Terpenes, Pesticide Residues. The lab can also test finished products containing CBDs.

Throughout the world, the tobacco industry relies on GLS’s moisture check samples as the standard in calibrating moisture ovens, brabenders, and Mettler moisture analyzers. Chemical check samples are also available and are used in a GLS-sponsored comparative study of total alkaloids, sugars, and chlorides. GLS also offers another type of check sample called oven monitors (OVs), which are made in bulk volumes. Usually an OV is an order of 50 samples of one tobacco type at the same moisture value.
